k-12.cloud is the managed cloud for K-12 software. We host the websites, workflow automation, SIS-supporting services, and private AI runtimes that schools and districts depend on — on SOC 2 Type II / ISO 27001-certified infrastructure, with predictable pricing and a single operating model.
The story
Founder-led, K-12-focused.
k-12.cloud was started inside Solo Work, Inc — a small operator focused on shipping infrastructure that K-12 teams can actually run. We spent years watching schools and EdTech vendors stand up one-off VMs, fragile cron jobs, and undocumented integrations that no one wanted to own. Then someone left, and the lights started blinking.
We built k-12.cloud as the opposite of that: a single managed cloud where every environment follows the same playbook, monitoring is on by default, and you don't have to choose between "cheap" and "observable." You bring the software — n8n workflows, a SchoolPress site, a district app, a private model — we run the environment.
Today, k-12.cloud is operated by Solo Work, Inc. We work directly with districts, schools, and the consultants and EdTech vendors that serve them. No reseller layer, no offshore support queue — the people who build the platform are the people who answer tickets.

Managed websites and apps
SchoolPress, district websites, and custom apps deployed and operated on certified infrastructure with managed TLS and monitoring.
SIS-supporting services
We don't replace your SIS. We host the supporting services around it — secure intake forms, integrations, reporting layers, and audit trails.
Private AI runtimes
Private model hosting and runtime services for districts that want AI capabilities without sending student-adjacent data to third-party AI vendors.
